While the Levante of Almeria will shortly have six premium golf courses, Cortijo Grande in Turre, is without doubt a classic, being the first to be constructed back in 1976. Although small, this 9-hole course is set in the pretty olive, lemon and orange groves of Cortijo Grande in Turre. There are a number of accommodation complexes to choose from, all within easy reach of the course and most with stunning views to the mountains and the sea. The course is soon to be extended to eighteen holes with an exclusive boutique hotel and pro shop.
